Millbrook Dental has been a part of Millbrook’s growing community for over 40 years, and we are dedicated to providing personalized oral care to every one of our patients. Our patients are like family. We are focused on healthy smiles for every stage of life, including pediatric dental services to patients 18 years of age and under as well as adults. Offering services to the whole family helps you book appointments together, saving you time and effort, and it helps us build a positive, open relationship with all family members. For our younger patients, dental visits to assess growing baby teeth are as essential as they are for permanent teeth.
If you have one or more missing teeth, dentures may help you smile confidently again. Depending on your oral health and preferences, the denturist may discuss one of three options with you: full dentures, partial dentures, or overdentures.
If you need to replace most or all of your top or bottom teeth, a traditional full denture may be the answer. If you are missing one or more teeth but your existing teeth are in good health, a partial denture may be the best fit. Snap-On teeth or overdentures use dental implants instead of suction or adhesive to keep your dentures in place. Full overdentures are the most common, but partial dentures may also be a viable option. We will perform an assessment, present you with every option available, and help you make the best choice.
Dental implants are a more secure and permanent option than dentures. Dental implants can replace one or more of your teeth. Overdentures, or Snap-On teeth, are examples of denture implant systems. This type of denture requires dental implants to secure it in place so they stay firmly in place. Your fit is more secure; however, it remains a removable denture for easy cleaning.
Schedule a consultation with our Denturist to see which option is the best choice for you.
If you are hiding your smile, or feeling self-conscious about the look of your teeth, then a cosmetic dental treatment may help you share your smile freely again. New techniques and technologies in cosmetic dentistry have made it more affordable and easy for you to obtain the smile you have always wanted. We offer the following treatments to help you find your best smile:
For optimal oral health, we need to keep your natural teeth in their best condition for as long as possible. So we offer endodontic services, which include any treatments relating to the interior, or pulp, of a tooth. A root canal is a procedure of endodontic dentistry. When possible, this procedure allows us to preserve your natural tooth when the nerve dies or is damaged, instead of performing a tooth extraction.
Do your gums bleed when you brush? Are they red and irritated, and causing you pain? You may have gingivitis, or periodontitis, also known as gum disease. We are trained to help you stabilize receding gums, ease inflammation, and reduce gum loss. Whether you need scaling, root planing, or a gum graft, we can help you re-establish healthy gums.
Millbrook Dental was designed with patient comfort in mind. We want all patients – from very young children to seniors – to feel comfortable and confident in their dental treatment.
To ensure that we provide the best possible care, our dedicated team emphasises communication and personalized care for all of our patients.
Visiting your dentist on a regular basis is crucial to having a healthy, beautiful smile. But if you have a toothache or cavity, are suffering from impacted wisdom teeth or wisdom tooth pain, or need a root canal, you may need a visit sooner than your routine teeth cleaning appointment. Whether it is your first appointment, an emergency appointment, or a regularly scheduled dentist visit, we work hard to help you feel relaxed and confident about the dental care services we provide.
Our dental clinic team members know that going to the dentist may not be your favourite activity, so we work hard to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Are you a nervous patient? We offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) if you need it to settle your nerves.
Our patients are like family – we aim to build positive, respectful relationships so you are comfortable to ask questions and discuss your dental treatment plans. We value that open and honest communication; building your long-term trust is very important to us.
We know that dental procedures and options can be complicated, so we ensure that you understand the details behind any recommended dental treatments. We work with you to schedule your family’s regular dental checkups and encourage you to call whenever you have any tooth pain or dental procedure questions. For new patients under three years of age, we offer a complimentary first time “meet and greet” appointment, to help them feel comfortable right from the first visit and to provide support for parents on how to care for a child’s new teeth.
Online reviews are used by many potential patients when choosing a dental care team for their family. The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO) does not allow patient testimonials on dental office websites.
